'XIWANG' (HOPE) - Chinese New Year 2022

​

We've been invited twice to project on the iconic facade of the Trent building at Nottingham University, firstly in 2017 and again in 2022.

​

Xīwàng (Hope) - Reflecting both traditional and contemporary Chinese culture, Xīwàng (Hope) will marked the imminent arrival of the Spring Festival on 1 February and welcome The Year of the Tiger.

 

'Jixiang' -Illuminating the facade of the iconic Trent Building of  Nottingham University and viewed from across the lake, the original and bespoke content celebrated both Chinese traditions and contemporary China culture , including Peony brush paintings by artist Jiang Hongsheng were also incorporated into the sequence as well as central appearances and music by musician Ling Peng.
